1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Catalystier, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Who can hold an account

Catalystier accounts are held by a parent or legal guardian. You must be an adult with legal authority over the teenager(s) you add to the account, and you confirm that when you add a teenager.

3. What Catalystier is

Catalystier is a weekly college-preparation planning tool for students in grades 8 through 12. It generates plans, practice questions, and feedback using an account ID, grade, track, and district; it is not a substitute for a school counselor, and it does not guarantee admission to any school, program, or scholarship.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Plans are billed weekly per student, starting from $5.99/week for grades 8–9 and $7.99/week for grades 10–12. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Optional practice packs are billed separately at the time of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Catalystier to submit content that is unlawful, harmful to a minor, or an attempt to bypass the safeguards built into the practice-topic and project-idea guardrails.

6. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Limitation of liability

Catalystier is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catalystier is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made based on AI-generated guidance.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page.
