About us

Built for the years everyone rushes past.

Grades 8 through 12 decide more than most families realize before it's obvious: math and language sequencing, the first real activities, the first real deadlines. Catalystier exists to make that stretch legible one week at a time, instead of one overwhelming four-year plan nobody actually reads.

What we build

Catalystier is a weekly college-prep plan for grades 8–12. A parent sets up the account and adds a teenager; the plan picks a track, opens one week of specific tasks at a time, and layers in practice questions, competition and scholarship guidance, an internship finder, and essay help as each grade calls for it. Nothing about it is meant to be read cover to cover; it's meant to be worked.

Why one week at a time

A four-year plan handed over on day one gets skimmed once and closed. We instead show the semester's themes so a family knows where things are headed, then open exactly one week of concrete, closed-ended tasks at a time. The next week opens on schedule regardless of whether the last one finished; completion never holds up the plan, and anything unfinished simply carries forward.

How we think about privacy

The account belongs to the parent. Every teenager gets an 8-digit account ID, and everything the product generates (plans, practice questions, feedback) is built from that ID plus a grade, a track and a district, never a name. Essays are read once to produce feedback and are never stored.

Small team, early stage

Catalystier is a young product built by a small team. We'd rather ship something narrow and useful than something broad and half-finished.

It works alongside a counselor

Catalystier supports families planning for college. It provides coursework sequencing, passion project ideas, scholarships and events guidance and practice, built around your student's track. It works alongside your school counselor.
