How it works

Set it up once. Work it one week at a time.

Catalystier isn't a document you read once; it's a plan that opens itself, one week at a time, from 8th grade through 12th. Here's what actually happens end to end.

1

A parent sets up the account

Parents hold the account and sign in with a passwordless emailed code: no password to forget or leak. Each teenager added gets their own plan inside that one account.

2

Not sure which track yet? Take the discovery quiz

Eight questions about what a teenager actually does, not what sounds good: surfaces the most likely track (pre-med, STEM, policy, finance, or business) and states plainly that it's reversible. Tracks look nearly identical in grades 8–9; the coursework only really diverges from grade 10.

3

Each semester opens as a set of week themes

A family sees the semester's week-by-week themes up front, so they know where it's going, but only one week's actual tasks are visible at a time.

4

The open week: three specific, closed-ended tasks

Each task has a clear finish line, grounded in the family's actual district and state where it matters. Optional projects and volunteering ideas can run alongside, at their own pace.

5

The next week opens on schedule

Seven days after the last one, whether or not everything finished. Unfinished tasks carry forward to the tracker instead of blocking progress, so the plan never stalls.

6

Everything else layers in as it becomes relevant

Practice questions generated for the exact topic and grade (SAT/ACT from grade 10), downloadable as a branded, printable worksheet with an answer key; competitions and scholarship guidance with real deadlines, with any competition pulled straight into practice for questions styled after its real difficulty and format; an internship finder matched to grade, track and state; and essay help from grade 11 that gives feedback and questions, never rewritten text.

7

The tracker shows where things stand

Completion rate, optional projects, anything carried over from an earlier week, and upcoming deadlines, all in one place, updated as the plan is worked.

Privacy is built into the mechanics, not bolted on

Every teenager is identified by an 8-digit account ID, never a name. Essay drafts are read once to generate feedback and are never stored. Downloaded practice worksheets are generated in the browser and never reach our servers.

This page walks through the product as designed. Some phrasing is simplified for a general audience: the product page and app are the source of truth for current pricing and feature availability.
